THE TRIP

Our trip begins at the airport of Padang. Our representative will be there to pick everyone up. From there, about 1 hour to the harbor. We usually stop for lunch on the way, depending on the arrival time. Speed boat takes around 4 hours and then we arrive at Botik Island. From there the pure fun begins.
We talk everyday about surf conditions to organize our trips to the surf. We re very flexible, and we like you to have fun, so after we have shown you the different spots for the first few surfs, we usually let the group decide where to go.
Our days are full of surf, great meals, and amazing experiences of pure island life.
The trip ends and we go back to Padang by speed boat. Our Representative will take you back from the harbor to the airport or hotel if you have a flight only the next day.
The Trip Includes:
  • All transfers from the airport to the Island of Botik and back (except for the speed boat).
  • All surf trips during the stay. We usually surf A LOT.
  • All delicious meals (western and indonesian)
  • Accommodation in our great bungalows with AC and fans.
  • All drinks (except for alcohol) cokes, sprites, juices, water....
  • All snack and drinks on the daily surf trips.
  • Internet WIFI.
  • Satellite TV.
  • Surf guide.
  • Mentawai Government taxes.
Depending on weather conditions and surf, we also take trips for fishing, spear fishing and snorkeling to the nearby islands.
The trip does NOT include:
  • Speed boat from Padang to Botik and back to Padang (250 USD).
  • Insurance ( very important to bring a travel insurance for the trip ).
  • Airport taxes.
  • Alcohol (beers and liquor can be purchased on the island).

 

SPEED BOAT

We offer a speed boat service that takes only 4 to 5 hours straight from Padang to Botik, and from Botik to Padang. The price per trip is 2 million rupiah (250 USD) per person BOTH WAYS.

A different trip

We try to organize for you a different and special trip. We think that we have accomplished to make the resort so all our guest can feel a great comfort thanks to the few people we have per trip on the island. Also by having 4 people per boat makes it much more simple and quick to organize the daily trips to the different breaks. We make the best out of each day for you.

  • All Speed boats we use are chartered from one of the most reliable transport companies in the Mentawais, we use this service to get to the island in the safest and fastest way possible. We are not responsible for weather conditions. If not safe to go, we will wait until conditions are good to go. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY EXTRA COSTS if the weather conditions bad to travel.
  • It's very important to purchase Medical insurance. We do provide first aid in case of accidents with reefs or any other accidents that could be part of a surfing trip in the Mentawai Islands.
  • It is only our purpose to make out of your trip, the best one in your life, and we will do so.
